New Smart Tag interface for MICROS and TRAKO is the ideal solution for resort hotels
MOSCOW, RUSSIA, October 3, 2002 - HRS - Hotel and Restaurant
Systems, the market leader in information technology for the hospitality
industry in Russia, the CIS and Baltic States, today presents Smart Tags, a new
solution for the resort hotels and aquaparks wanting an alternative to
mag-stripe plastic cards.
This wearable innovation affords added convenience as clients
no longer need to worry about wallets, purses or credit cards. Whether on the
beach or in the water, the Smart Tag is fully protected from water, sun and sand,
so guests can relax and have a good time not being anxious about its lose or
damage. The wearable tag allows guests to register on entering a place or to pay
for purchases with a simple "proximity touch" to readers interfaced
with point of sale workstations.
«Smart Tag technology can be used as part of a comprehensive
solution with TRAKO account management and Micros, or with Micros alone. Tags
integrate with TRAKO club functions such as discounts, allownces and client
statistics or, in the case of Micros, with a cashless "electronic purse"
system. Balances and client activity is electronically stored directly on the
tag," said Sergey Gavriluk, HRS Development Manager.
HRS provides property management and point of sale solutions
under its own brand names and the brand name MICROS-Fidelio in its territory.
MICROS Systems, Inc. is the global leading provider of hotel information
technology with installations in over 16,000 hotels worldwide and with over
120,000 MICROS systems in full and quick service restaurants, hotels, motels,
casinos and leisure and entertainment operations in more than 130 countries.
