Senato della Repubblica (the Senate of Italy) votes for TRAKO
MOSCOW, RUSSIA, February 12, 2002 - HRS
- Hotel and Restaurant Systems, a leading software
developer of country specific solutions for the
hospitality industry, today announced the installation of
TRAKO in the Senate of Italy. This is the first government
institution to have chosen TRAKO as its account management
solution.
The Senate of Italy uses Micros
workstations to run its quick service dining outlets.
Keeping track of Senators, staff and an array of
dignitaries and international guests on the grounds of the
Italian Senate created a very specific environment in
which TRAKO would have to operate. The Italian Senate
required special routing capabilities, comprehensive
security functionality, statement generation and the
ability to issue quickly multiple accounts across an array
of account types - all in a high volume atmosphere. Such
stringent requirements brought them to TRAKO developers.
"Governments are by nature demanding," said
Sergei Gavriluk, Development Manager for HRS, "and
require flexible, reliable and stable solutions with
little or no margin for error."
In addition to interfacing seamlessly
with MICROS POS workstations, TRAKO will account for more
than 5,000 active users on an ongoing basis at the Italian
Senate managing payments, allocations and individual
accounts while maintaining the proper back office audit
trails for all monetary and non-monetary transactions.
"Account management software is not industry specific,"
says Irina Vasilieva, TRAKO Specialist. "Any large
organization such as a government institution like the
Italian Senate interested in keeping a usable database of
preferred customers and marketing to them can benefit from
TRAKO."
